This CD-ROM contains U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Digital Line Graph 
(DLG) hypsography layers for the Delaware 7.5 minute quadrangles.  These 
layers have been collected from the newest 1991-1993 topographic maps 
available for the State.  This new mapping is the result of a 5-year 
cooperative program between the State and the U.S. Geological Survey 
supported by the Delaware Legislature through the Delaware Geological 
Survey.

This directory contains USGS OPTIONAL DLG Format 1:24,000 hypsography 
files for most of the quads in Delaware.  These files were transferred
from the U.S.  Geological Survey via ftp on June 9, 1995.

The REPORT file in this directory is a listing of the individual files 
associated with their appropriate USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle name.  The
files on this CD-ROM have been shortened to the last 8 characters (6 
characters for RDMS/UD dataset) for DOS conventions.  The numbering system 
is slightly different in the RDMS/UD dataset than in the CD-ROMs obtained 
directly from USGS.  Hypsography data in the RDMS/UD dataset is matched to 
that of the DLG dataset for continuity (done 12/5/98).
